With a New Year comes New Things, Lets Roll
The Catalog is done and dusted, check it out, and let us know what you think of the tropical flavor.
Since everything these days are in 3D, here’s a look at our attempt at one. We make a lot of missions to the Museum so its only fitting that we use this Tre Flip Philly is doing for this experiment…
Get a pair of 3D glasses and check it out.
We had a catalog shoot so we figured to go to the hippest trashed place around.
The Museum, what can I say, probably the most hitted skate spot in town that we go skate. Apart from being chased away most of the time with a common line the security guards tune us
“You can’t play your games here”
In retrospect I think they don’t know what skateboarding is all about but hey we get chased away from a lot of spots. That probably fuels the passion to go there time and time again.
We heard of the new skate park that’s being build at Langebaan, a solid smooth concrete park.
So we were stoked to check it out and have a session there.
On the mission with us was Christi Wiehahn and Jamie O’Brien so it was going to be a rad and productive trip, good vibes all round…
This is by far the best skate park in Cape Town +40Km, O wait!!!, It’s the only skate park in CT at the time in 2009.
A few parks have opened now, but for a few years this was the only one, its a rad place to hang for a while, expect more pics and footage in the future session we are going to make there…
With a name like Woodstock you cant go wrong to find some places that’s good to skate also being a Industrial Area, that’s a recipe for a good time. Philly hooked up with Sam Clark to go shoot a wall ride he came across in spot checking.
Live at Woodstock, Lets Go…
It was a Saturday morning and we were ready to do some spot checking around CT, more specifically the UCT area to check if something new has been build there or maybe see something different to skate.
That is one of the best things about skateboarding, the unknown creative adventure.
